Three men have been accused of treachery in relation to the Grenfell Tower fire.
In a sequence of dawn raids by the Metropolitan Police, eight men and one woman were apprehended.
The three men have been charged with treachery by fake depiction and the fourth man has been accused of drug misdemeanour. They will all come before magistrates later.
The other five apprehended people have been freed under scrutiny.
The charged men are:
- Yonatan Eyob, 25, of no stable home, has been accused of keeping with the purpose of supplying class A drugs, keeping of class A drugs and keeping the criminal property.
- Abolaji Onafuye, 54, of Gorleston Street, Hammersmith, west London, has been accused of two counts of treachery by fake depiction.
- Abdelkarim Rekaya, 28, of Lots Road, Chelsea, west London, has been accused of treachery by fake depiction and procuring holiday by deceit.
The fire took lives of seventy-two people on 14 June 2017.
