On Monday, Queen Elizabeth II has surprised a group of American tourists with a prank, who strikes her while  roaming around Scotland’s Balmoral Castle. 

The 93-year-old Queen of England was dressed in tweeds and wear a headscarf at the time, walked with one of her protected officers, reported the Daily Mail, as referred by the New York Post

A group of American tourists has started conversing with Elizabeth II, enquired her if she lived nearby, and whether she had ever met the monarch. 

Her Majesty replied, “Yes, she did indeed live nearby.” Then immediately gestured toward the protection officer and said that while she had never met the queen, but “this policeman has.”

It was the protection officer – long-time Royal staffer Richard Griffin – who shared the anecdote with the Times of London, said the New York Post in their article.
