UK Prince William and his wife Kate are to separate their humanitarian works from his brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, declared from Kensington Palace.
The move is pondered as the final attempt in the separation of the public duties and follows reports over the past year of a rift – first between Kate and Meghan, and then between William and his younger brother.
The four-way Royal Foundation welfare attempt was proposed to gear the star power o0f the two couples, but it lasted just 16 months after their first presence as a quartet.
Beside separating their welfare work, the two couples- very much seen as the future of the royal family – have also drifted apart physically.
In London Kensington palace, they both live in close distance.
However, Harry and his wife Meghan have shifted to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate, west of the city, as they begin their family with baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born in May.
They have shifted their office from Kensington Palace to Buckingham Palace.
Later this year, while Meghan and Harry will set up their own separate foundation, the Royal Foundation will become the main charitable and philanthropic vehicle for William and Kate.
Both couples will resume to work together on some projects , along with the Heads Together mental health push.
