French President Emmanuel Macron told on Thursday he took the responsibility for rescinding a prolonging Brexit delay and forcing other European Union leaders for agreeing to a shorter one in order to safeguard the operating of the EU. He said, “It’s true that the majority was more in favor of a very long extension. But it was not logical in my view, and above all, it was neither good for us, nor for the UK ”.

The French leader included, “I take responsibility for this position, I think it’s for the collective good”, before leaving the European Council in Brussels.
